Have your documents checked before you book at your consulate.

Most files that come back were from people who qualified. The statement period was one month short, the name on an account did not match the passport, or the appointment was booked before a slow document was ready — and the next slot was weeks away. Send me what you plan to take and I will tell you what to fix first.

How it works

   Pay, then book a time

   Pick a 30-minute call at least two working days out.

   Send me your documents

   Reply to the confirmation email with your statements and any letters. You can black out account numbers.

   Get my findings in writing

   Before the call: what is fine, what to fix, and what to get before you book.

   Go through it together

   On the call we work through the list and anything else you want to ask.

What I check

• The statement period — every month the consulate asks for, with none missing

• The balances or deposits against the line for your route, month by month

• The name on each account against the name on your passport

• Whether a bank letter, pension letter or investment statement is in a form the consulate accepts

• What is slow to get, so it is ordered before you book

What it is not

• Legal representation. This is not legal advice, and if your case needs an immigration attorney I will tell you so.
