Work with Roger
Get your Mexican residency right the first time, with someone who's done it.
I'm Roger Scott. I went through Mexican residency myself, and I built ResidencyMexico because the hardest part — knowing what your consulate actually wants — wasn't written down anywhere current. Now I help people through it one-to-one.
- No documents needed to book
- 45 minutes, one-to-one with me
- A written plan of your next steps
- Counts toward the plan or done-with-you within 90 days, or up to your consulate appointment if that's later

How it works
One call first. Then only the help you need.
Step 1
A 45-minute call with me
$149, no documents needed. We plan your route together — basis, consulate rules, documents, timing — and you get it in writing.
Step 2
The plan, or done with you
Once your route is set, choose how much help you want carrying it out. Your $149 counts toward either within 90 days, or up to your consulate appointment if that's later.
Step 3
Your residency card
The visa at your consulate, then your card from INM after the 30-day canje in Mexico.
Who this is for
You qualify, or you're close, and you'd like it right first time
You've checked the numbers and you qualify — or you're close and want to know where you stand. You're hoping to apply in the next few months, and you'd rather not find out at the consulate window that a document was wrong.
If you're still early, the free calculator is the place to start. If you don't qualify yet, email me instead of booking.
Why people get sent away
The people who get sent away often qualified on paper. What tripped them up was something like:
- the wrong statement period, or a month missing
- a bank letter or online statement the consulate wouldn't accept
- a name on an account that didn't match the passport
- an appointment booked before the slow documents existed
- no plan for the 30-day canje after landing
Each one costs weeks, sometimes months. All of them can be caught beforehand.
Step 1 · The call
45 minutes with me to plan your route — before you gather anything
- 1
Book and pay. $149, one time. No documents needed — book before you've gathered anything.
- 2
Tell me where you are. A line or two is enough. If you already have documents, send them and I'll check each against your consulate's own list before we talk. Optional — black out account numbers if you like.
- 3
We plan your route in 45 minutes: which residency type and basis fit — income or savings — your consulate and its specific rules, exactly which documents to gather and how (the statement months, the bank letter format, names that match your passport, apostilles or translations if yours need them), when to book the appointment and when to travel, and the 30-day canje at INM.
- 4
You get a written plan of your next steps, in order, by email.

Keep the goal in sight
The paperwork is the hard part. The life in Mexico is the point.
Step 2 · Once your route is set
Two ways to carry it out, if you want help
Both are offered after we've planned your route, not before — the call is how we both find out which, if either, you need. You can also take the written plan and do it yourself. Your $149 counts in full toward either within 90 days, or up to your consulate appointment if that's later.
Do it yourself, guided
$249
$100 after your call credit
Once your route is set, the step-by-step plan to carry it out yourself: slowest documents first, interview prep, the 30-day canje, and email support until you have your card.
For: Organized people who want a checklist they can trust.
Done with you
$995 per household
$846 after your call credit
Once your route is set, I carry it out with you: every document checked before you book, the appointment booked, interview prep on a call, and me alongside you through the canje.
- $895 for the first 3 clients, in exchange for a testimonial
- +$195 per applicant beyond two adults
- At most 3 new households a month
For: People who want someone holding the file with them.
Not sure which? That's what the call is for. And if you need neither, I'll say so.
“When I first looked into getting residency in Mexico, I felt overwhelmed. The ResidencyMexico plan took the stress out of the process and saved me a lot of time and energy.”
Straight answers
What I don't do
I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal representation or legal advice. If your case needs an immigration attorney — a prior denial, an overstay, a business route — I'll tell you on the call.
Nobody can promise the consulate's decision, and anyone who does is selling something else.
Government fees — the consulate's visa fee and INM's card fee — are paid by you, directly to them.
FAQ
Questions
Something else? Email me — it comes straight to me.
Why pay for a call when the calculator is free?
The calculator tells you whether your numbers clear the bar. The call plans how you get from there to a residency card — the right basis, your consulate's rules, which documents and in what form, and the order — because that's where files actually fail.
Why you and not a lawyer?
Most residency applications on income or savings are paperwork, not law: the right statements, in the right form, for the right consulate. That's what I check. If your case genuinely needs one — a prior denial, an overstay, a business route — I'll say so, and that's the person you should pay.
Is this legal advice?
No. I'm not an attorney and nothing on the call is legal advice or legal representation. It's practical, current guidance on a standard process, from someone who has been through it.
Do I need my documents ready before the call?
No. Most people book before they've gathered anything, and that's the best time: we work out which documents you need, in what form, and in what order to get them. If you already have some — bank or investment statements, a pension or income letter, your passport, marriage or birth certificates — send them and I'll check each against your consulate's published requirements before we talk: the months they read, the format they accept, names and dates.
Is the $149 really credited?
Yes. In full, toward the plan or done-with-you, if you choose either within 90 days, or up to your consulate appointment if that's later. For the plan it's applied automatically at checkout; for done-with-you I take it off your invoice.
What if I don't qualify yet?
Don't book a call. Email me first, and I'll tell you whether waiting, savings, or a spouse's income changes the answer.
What if my case is complicated?
Email me before you book. If it needs an immigration attorney rather than me, I'll tell you then, before you pay.
How soon can we talk?
Usually within a week of booking. If you send documents for me to check, leave two working days before the call.
Who will I actually talk to?
Me. There's no team.
